A lot of my goals for this year are centered around this blog, growing my design business, and building community. I created these two free encouragement desktop wallpapers to keep me going in January when sticking with goals is the hardest! I find the first month of any new project/plan/goal to be the one I struggle the most in. They’re usually more projects and fewer habits. I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions, but I do like setting out goals for the year. Part of how I get ready for the New Year is setting goals I can achieve, and setting myself up with motivating reminders that I CAN accomplish what I’ve set out to do. I created these free encouragement desktop wallpapers to welcome the new year and get me motivated for all my plans! Things are looking pretty great for 2017 already. Since we’ve welcomed our newest addition to the family, things for 2017 are going to look a lot different for me. Everyone is making goals, plans, schemes for the new year, myself included. Right-click on the image file and this menu appears in Windows 10:Ī bit harder to see, but this time it’s “ Set as desktop background” and you’ll have the image set as your wallpaper! What about if you’re on a PC? No worries. SET DESKTOP IMAGE AS WALLPAPER You want to choose “ Save Image As…” then pay attention to where it’s saved and give it a good, mnemonic name too. Used to be we needed to buy CDs of photos to have images large enough to use as desktop wallpapers on our computers – I probably have a couple in the basement! – but nowadays there are a million beautiful images posted every single day.
